Release 17 - September 2026

Release 17 lets supporters give through a donation item in your auction and report those gifts by Activity. It also redesigns the custom field editor and fixes issues across the Manager and the events site.

Add an item your supporters can give to directly, for any amount at or above a minimum you set. Tag each donation item with an Activity, such as a program or a cause, and the Donations by Activity report shows what was raised for each one. The Activity recorded is the one in place when the gift was made, so totals stay accurate if you rename things later.

Adding and editing custom fields in the Manager now happens in a redesigned window. It is also where you mark a field group as an Activity for donation reporting.

Select several guests and set their status, sponsor or table in one step. This was missing from the refreshed guest list.

  • The events site detects auction close more reliably. It no longer briefly shows an open auction as closed when the page first loads.
  • My Activity on the events site shows a newly assigned paddle number without a page reload.
  • Guest names in Check-In Guests now open that guest’s record, so you can fix details without leaving check-in.
  • Adding a guest who may already be registered now asks whether it is the same person and uses their existing details, rather than showing “Unnamed” matches.
  • Guest import files are deleted after a successful import rather than kept in storage.

Payments and checkout

  • Transaction reports showed internal codes for some payment types, such as offline, no cash and donor-advised fund, instead of readable names.
  • Resending an invoice by text message accepted an invalid phone number and failed silently.
  • A declined ticket payment could leave an empty guest entry on the guest list.

Auctions and items

  • Competitive bid items in a category with a close timer did not close when the timer ended.
  • On the events site, moving to the next or previous item stopped working while a custom field filter was active.

Manager

  • Saving a bidder could erase the spending limit that had just been set.
  • A checkbox custom field could not be unticked, and could not be used to filter.
  • Some organization and auction pages showed an error instead of loading.
  • Organization names containing characters such as “&” were altered on every save.
  • Single sign-on showed confusing messages when sign-in failed.
  • More guest-list improvements, including seating guests at a full table, sponsor pages and custom guest emails
