# Release 13 - July 2026

Release 13 brings a flexible new way to greet visitors on your home page, smoother payments, a major round of enhancements for Bid Box purchasing, and a significant speed-up to the screen bidders see first.

## Highlights

### Announcement Banner for White-Label Home Pages
You can now publish a custom HTML banner block on your white-label home page — a welcome message, a sponsor callout, or event-day instructions — managed right from your organization's Content tab.

:::note
This is a contract-specific feature. If it is not on your account, contact Handbid Support.
:::

### A Better Bid Box
Bid Box (our fair-chance, one-at-a-time purchasing for high-demand items) got a substantial upgrade for Managers: reverse an offer you accepted by mistake and put it back in the queue, send offers in parallel across multi-unit lots, automatically mark a lot sold out once all inventory is awarded, and configure how many bidders are queued and how long each has to decide. Bid Box revenue also counts toward your campaign thermometer.

### Record a Check at Checkout
When purchasing tickets or sponsorships on a guest's behalf, you can now record a check payment right at the point of purchase.

### A Much Faster My Auctions
The screen bidders land on could take around 25 seconds to load for organizations with a lot of history. It was rebuilt and is now fast.

## More improvements

- **Smoother saved-card payments** — ticket purchases with a saved card now complete cleanly when the card requires an extra 3-D Secure verification step
- **Instant broadcast notifications** — broadcast messages appear immediately in a bidder's Notifications on the events site
- **More context in "Ask a Manager" emails** — they now name the exact item the bidder was looking at, so you have the context to reply
- **Non-bidder sign-ups captured** — visitors who register or log in without bidding are now added to your organization's Contacts
- **Auction Documents** can now be enabled per organization, so you can share appraisals, brochures, and other files with bidders
- **Clearer extended-bidding cues** — bidders can see when an item will extend and when extended bidding is active
- **Stripe Terminal** reset and disable now work when no auction is in session
- **White-label & enterprise** — expanded RFX / reverse-auction tooling (scannable awards tables, per-page controls, index-based and negative-offer bidding, and full-page PDF export), and enhancements to our gram-based giving program (per-recipient quantities, a cleaner sales report, and a bidder "My Grams" dashboard)
- **Under the hood** — a broad stability and code-quality sweep, continued expansion of our next-generation mobile API, tightened auction privacy and visibility rules, and improved reliability of large data exports; a mid-cycle maintenance update also resolved an issue that could cause very large contact-list exports to fail

## Fixes

- Purchaser names were not shown on donation and silent auction items even with Show purchaser name turned on.
- The For Sale button label ignored the text set in theme settings.
- Managers with certain organization roles were incorrectly blocked from parts of the Manager.
