# Team Roles: Advanced

By now, you should have already learned the basics of TEAMS and have invited your Team Members to join you in managing your event! If not, please visit [Team Roles: The Basics](/predefined-team-roles-and-team-roles-basics/) to get started. 

### The Team Member Permissions include: 

**Create/Edit items** - This allows the team member to add or modify items in the event. Note: By enabling this setting, Handbid will automatically select and grant “Change Item Status” permissions to this team member as well. 

**Change Auction Status** - This allows the team member to move an auction into preview, presale, or open status.

***NOTE**: By enabling this setting, Handbid will automatically select and grant “Close Auction” permissions to the team member as well.*

**Edit Auction Settings** \- This permission allows the team member to change any of the auction settings.

***NOTE**: By enabling this setting, Handbid will automatically select and grant “Change Auction Status” and “Close Auction” permissions to the team member as well*

**Change Item Status** \- This permission allows the team member to move items into open, pending, or sold status.

**Edit Auction Settings** - This permission allows the team member to edit and change your auction settings.

**Edit/Register Bidders** - This permission allows the team member to register users or edit bidder profile settings. 

**Manage guests** - This permission allows the team member to modify the guest list and guest profiles.

**View Reports** - This permission allows the team member to pull and view reports from your auction.

**Enter Bids/Purchases -** This permission allows the team member to enter bids on an auction item and purchases on a for-sale or appeal item.

**Manage Livestream** - This permission allows the team member to modify Livestream settings.

**Manage Invites** \- This permission allows the team member to modify the invite list and invite people to the auction. 

**Close Auction** - This permission allows the team member to close the auction.

**Process Payments** - This permission allows the team member to process payments and settle invoices.

**Manage Theme** - This permission allows the team member to modify settings in Theme Editor.

**Send Broadcasts** - This permission allows the team member to edit and send broadcast messages. 

**Manage Categories**  - This permission allows the team member to edit category settings.

**View Statistics** - This permission allows the team member to view the revenue statistics and the Handbid TV goals slide.

**Receive Notifications** - This permission allows the team member to be selected to receive event notifications.

**Manage Polls** - If polls are allowed on your contract and enabled, this will allow the Team Member to access polls and poll answers and the summary.
